The concept was launched in 2014 with the opening of a store in East Providence. It’s the perfect corner taco bodega that’s been serving from a tiny dining room and larger patio for ten years. Over the next six years they also operated seasonal beach side locations and taco carts; in farmers markets, festivals and private events. In 2021 they opened a seasonal store in the Newport area.

The commissary was envisioned to centralize food production for an aggressive planned growth phase and franchise offering; and to develop a standalone Tortilla and Salsa factory for both retail sales and wholesale distribution. The commissary required over a 7-figure investment in fit up and equipment. The retail store was viewed as a new “urban and upscale” concept compared to the corner “bodega style” of the original two stores.

All the pieces are in place for a properly capitalized and experienced operator to take the concept to the next level and beyond. The brand is well-known, operations are fully intact, storefronts are set up to duplicate with multiple revenue streams including delivery, catering, private events, retail, and wholesale in addition to duplicating high volume bodega style storefronts.
